Clade Theria


Introduction

The clade theria is the group of mammals that includes both humans and kangaroos, but not platypuses or echidnas. That is to say, it includes both the metatheria (marsupials) and eutheria (placental mammals like you and I), but excludes prototheria (the monotremes: platypuses and echidnas).
